We mounted this on a desk for video calls, on a treadmill for shows, and clipped it to a bed frame for late-night reading. The 360° ball joint actually holds its position once you set it — none of the slow droop we've cursed at on cheaper mounts. The base clamp grips edges up to 2 inches thick, including a glass desk. Phone slides in and out one-handed because the spring clip is properly tensioned. After a month of daily use, it still holds firm.
